Acceptance

• By creating an account or using CloseNote, you agree to these Terms of Service.
• If you do not agree, do not use CloseNote.

What CloseNote provides

• CloseNote records calls via your browser microphone and/or tab audio, transcribes them using AI, generates structured sales notes, and allows you to push those notes to Salesforce.
• The service is provided as-is during beta. Features may change, be added, or removed.

Your responsibilities

• You must comply with all applicable laws regarding call recording in your jurisdiction.
• You must obtain consent from all parties before recording any call.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of notes pushed to your CRM.
• You must keep your account credentials secure.
• You may not use CloseNote for any illegal purpose.

Data and privacy

• Audio recordings are deleted immediately after transcription.
• Your notes and transcripts are encrypted at rest.
• We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Limitations of liability

• CloseNote is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated transcripts or notes.
• CloseNote is not liable for any legal consequences resulting from your use of call recording features.
• CloseNote is not responsible for data loss due to circumstances outside our control.
• In no event shall CloseNote's liability exceed the amount you paid in the prior 3 months.

Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time from Settings.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Changes to terms

• We may update these terms. We will notify you by email if material changes are made.
• Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
