How it works

The Mac app will handle this automatically. Today, you can try the same notes and Salesforce workflow in your browser.

1

Connect once

Install the Mac app. Link your Salesforce org and dialer. CloseNote stays in your menu bar — you never open it during a call.

2

Calls auto-detect

When a call connects in Five9, CloseNote starts recording in the background. No button. No tab picker. Just dial like you always do.

3

Notes land in CRM

Hang up and move to the next dial. By the time you glance at Salesforce, structured notes are on the Contact and linked Opportunity.

Security

Call recordings are sensitive. We delete audio after transcription, encrypt notes at rest, and connect to Salesforce with OAuth — we never see your CRM password.

We do not store your audio

Recordings are uploaded only long enough to transcribe. Audio is deleted immediately after transcription succeeds. We keep the text transcript and structured notes you save — never raw call recordings.

Encrypted at rest

Transcripts, notes, and Salesforce tokens are encrypted in the database.

OAuth to Salesforce

Standard OAuth 2.0 — no password sharing. Revoke access anytime from Settings.

Desktop-native capture

Audio stays on your machine until upload. No browser tab sharing required.

Built for dialers, not Zoom

Auto-detect calls

CloseNote knows when your dialer connects and disconnects. Recording starts and stops without you touching anything.

Structured notes

Summary, pain points, objections, next steps, and follow-up date — generated in seconds after hangup.

Opportunity linking

Notes attach to the specific deal in your pipeline, not just the contact. Same person, multiple deals, separate history.

Salesforce sync

OAuth connect. Auto-push to Contact or Lead and linked Opportunity. Managers see call history on the deal.

Menu bar app

Lives in your Mac menu bar. Status at a glance: idle, recording, processing, pushed.

Security-first

Audio is deleted after transcription, notes are encrypted at rest, and Salesforce connects via OAuth — never a password.

Jack Mickel

I'm Jack. I spent years manually logging calls in Salesforce after every dial — so I built CloseNote for reps like me.
